Feel at home when you're away but not for professional security surveillance
Not recommended if you want a serious security setup but I've been using this for years just to see how the family is doing at home while I'm at work. I also use it to watch over the house while I'm in the home office at night. What's cool is that at work sometimes when i switch to night vision it makes a click sound and the kids can hear it and interact with the cam knowing I'm on the other side. Video quality is average, wide angle is excellent, pan tilt excellent, record average, sound ok, requires good wifi otherwise it'll drive you crazy with weak wifi, the app is useful again requires good connection. Setup is very easy.

Great starter cam!
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Definitely a good cam for the most standard things and easy to use. IR night vision is excellent. Battery life is ok. Wifi range is not too far and remote range is awful. This camera is best used if by hand only and not via wifi or remote. It's zoom in/out is ok for its class as well as the onboard camera light. Does not have too much of a wide angle but very reasonable for its class. Settings are very easy to use. Overall, the right camera for the nonprofessional but at the same time there are far better cameras for amateur use.

I've waited so long to get this. No regrets now that I've been using it.
From a videographers perspective.
Pros: Full frame, great in low lighting, professional grade video yield.
Cons: Top dial is noisy just like the Rebel which picks up on video, recommend bat grip for video projects.
