I couldn’t believe how good this would be!
I bought this because it was left handed and was less than £200 delivered- as I wanted to use it as a basis for upgrading and practicing working on a guitar. I bought a great new set of pickups for it and a very good quality wiring loom. However when the guitar came I was amazed how good it was! The neck is brilliant and the fretwork superb. Even the fret ends are smoothed down and the finish is great. If this was a starter electric guitar bought for a beginner it would be well beyond anything I could ever imagine buying in the past! The pickups and circuit on board are great however, not Gibson standard but ideal as that first guitar and if you want to play rock, they might be ideal. With my new pickups it is as good to play as one of my Gibsons and sounding better! The workshop project I thought I might have with this has been abandoned as it’s now one of my favorite guitars! ( unbelievably!) I was thinking of upgrading the bridge and tailpiece, but they have a slightly different spacing than standard and it would need filling and redrilling the holes, but as it rings out well and plays fine I decided to leave that alone! I took a chance on buying one as it was so cheap I could not go wrong, but now I would not hesitate it recommending anyone to get hold of one!
If this was a first guitar bought for a young player it would be a brilliant start and would be much closer to a “student Gibson” than you would ever imagine.

Great colour to refresh a tired old 70's Strat!
Replacement colour parts for a 70's Strat with Sunburst finish and black hardware.
I wanted to put white hardware on the Guitar to emphasise the Sunburst finish as part of a tidy up.
These parts did the job admirably!
Only small snag was that although the Volume control fitted on the pot perfectly the Tone knobs are a little loose (Tooling issue?) I am a bit loathe to try to prise open the pot shafts to tighten these as I recently had the same trouble with a 2012 Strat and snapped a tang off the tone shaft! Colour is great though!
