Quality set, great for Greek Mythology-lovers

Gave this to my son for his 10th birthday. He and his twin sister have been reading Percy Jackson books full of characters based on Greek mythological figures. He likes chess, and made a chessboard recently, and my wife and I started looking at chess pieces. They needed to be big enough, weighty so they wouldn’t easily tip over, within our price range, and ... cool! After comparing a lot of sets, we chose this one. I love that one side has centaurs for knights and Pegasuses (I know, there’s supposed to be only one Pegasus, but that’s so limiting!), and Zeus and Athena as king and queen , etc. I think it’s weird to have an army of Medusas as pawns— why not Greek heroes? But, all in all, this is a very cool set.

Love the Persol square styles

Bought this to replace a similar style of frame for my next prescription. I still prefer the original style, but it is out of production and impossible to find in this color. But, this is similar, and I hope to get used to the differences. With COVID, I have been avoiding all unnecessary shopping, so sticking with what I know and ordering online is the way to go.
