The best phone I've owned and I was a Verizon dealer for over 15 years.
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. I bought the Chocolate 3 because I don't need (or want) a smartphone but I did want a good camera phone. If I want to access the web I'm usually near a computer and will do it there, not on a phone! I did have a bug with it for a short time- after charging I would have to turn it off, then on again as it came on by itself without being able to gain a signal- almost as if it was in 'airplane' mode.
At first battery life was only so-so, a few days, which for most smartphone users would be a dream come true! So I picked up an extended battery for it (I was a Verizon dealer at the time) at my supplier for $6 and battery life went to nearly two weeks! An extended battery makes this phone a dream- and easier to hold for my large hands. I told a friend who also had this phone to buy the extended battery and he could NOT believe how much longer each charge lasts! The extended battery requires a special extended battery door so be sure to get both.
I've had the phone for well over three years and will most likely try to buy a new, off contract, one when it finally does die. If you're not in need of a smartphone I highly recommend this phone, with extended battery, as a great, reliable phone, with fantastic battery life. And a decent camera as well. I don't use the mp3 player much, but with microSD capability, that might be a bonus for some.

Great sound in a small size and reasonable price! Bought a second one for 'gift giving', it's that good!
Got one for my wife and she loves it! It 'joins' her all over the house, which she couldn't do with her desktop computer to listen to Pandora. It's small size yet great sound can go anywhere with her and because it's also waterproof, she has no fear of damaging it! She loves it enough to have me order this one on eBay for our daughter's mother-in-law.
One tip for 'gift giving', charge the unit first! It takes up to four hours for the initial charge, normal for most Bluetooth speakers that have internal batteries and long lasting play time. It's easy to repackage it for gift giving!

Much better than hard plastic holsters
I used a hard plastic holster for about three months before the clip broke. It wasn't easy to release the phone but it did serve its purpose. When it broke, though, I knew that the plastic tabs on those couldn't stand up to daily use so I started looking for this type of case. I also had to find one that would hold my phone with the protective 'rubber bumper' protector on it. This holster is perfect so far, I really like it. Also nice is the option to either loop you belt through it or just clip it on so if you find that it may slip off the clip you can secure it with two loops and it's not going anywhere. And the magnetic front flap stays closed until you lift it to remove the phone and the notch at the bottom helps you push it out- great design! I'm very pleased with this one!
