Quality chain-saw blade

Not for beginners

The word "Beginners" in the title is a misnomer. This book is for quite competent flutists, at least someone who has a year's work of learning and ready for more advanced compositions. The collection of music compositions in the book is quite good, otherwise.

Great reeds, but perhaps not for beginners even at strength #2

I've always liked Rico Royal clarinet reeds, and these are all well made and will probably all play well with minor adjustment. I think a beginner will be better off with regular Rico #2 reeds, which are just as playable with minor tweaking, I find the Rico Royals are slightly stiffer at any strength.
