Good basic camcorder.

Compact and easy to use. Bought it to use as a streaming video camera for teaching online. You will need a video capture device to put between the camcorder and your PC/Mac. Working well for that application so far. Being an entry level camcorder, it does not have an accessory shoe, If you want or need to incorporate an external mic, which is highly desirable for good audio quality, you will have to hand hold the mic or use some kind of a rig to mount the mic on. Also suggest picking up an additional battery or two and an off-camera charger for the batteries. This is especially useful if you are traveling or recording video of a long event.
