Worked well in an in vehicle installation where previously an "adaptor" used with the monitor supplied VGA cable gave trouble and eventually failed.

Light enough to easily work with while sufficiently strong.
Its perfect for DIY jobs being not too heavy so easily worked with, but sufficiently strong for most jobs. I am making up steel ladders to install permanently in a disused mine in Wales used for recreational purposes. So very heavy would present transportation problems.
Its an easy method of purchase and the delivery costs, especially for a small quantity, make it a more economical purchase than the time and fuel spent going to a local stockholder.
