Cole Hersee 48525 Smart Battery Isolator 85A 9-16V

Battery isolator

I'd been looking for a dual battery isolator because my truck didn't come with one. On an Internet search I found this product. I read up on it, and it seemed perfect! Simply run hot leads from each battery, and the isolator does the rest! Installation was super easy, although my unit didn't come with mounting screws. The screws need to be of large diameter to have a head size to cover the holes, and long enough to go through the plastic housing. I think I used #8 x 1.5". Once hooked up, I monitored the connections with a voltmeter. Works perfectly-very happy with the unit. I just hope it holds up to the extreme desert heat we have down here in Yuma!
