No Auto Shut Off

This mat is very cold to start with but can get and stay very hot! It is infrared so it is not to be used unless you understand what infrared does and how it works. It is not just to warm you. I love the mat it is very well made. The drawback and reason I cannot recommend it is that it does not automatically shut off; there is no timer. This equipment can cause irreparable damage to a person if they are not constantly aware of the continuous infrared. Very dangerous. Even using it on another person with a timer can be a hazard if one is not right there to turn it off.

Clasp is sub quality

The clasp is just as important as the pearls. These pearls are great; a terrific value, perfectly sized and excellent knitting between each. They get 10 stars. The clasp is ugly after just a couple uses. The finish is almost completely worn off. Needs to be replaced. So now I can only use the pearls when I wear something with a collar to hide the clasp...... not much sense in paying for a full string when only 8” will be seen. 😪.
