Excellent writing and acting.

We watched The Wire when it was first shown on TV and became so immersed in the story lines. Great actors. One of the most compelling shows we saw in years. With the pandemic, we decided we wanted to watch the whole series so we bought up each season on EBay.

If you are a fan of Shetland and Vera, you will really be happy with this dvd set. There is so much information and Green goes to so many beautiful locations we felt we had been there. We are fans.

gem of a film

This has been one of my top 20 British films and I have always wondered why they didn't convert to digital. Regardless, I am so happy to have found a copy. I have to buy a conversion to attach my VHS player to my smart TV so have not been able to view it yet. This film has it all: great actors, a story that is bittersweet and hilarious with one of the best endings ever written.
