Twilight Zone: The Movie (DVD, 2007) Brand New

Twlight Zone

Good, but not spectacular sci fi send up of the classic TV series. The first segment was left incomplete by the tragic death of Vic Morrow, which was a shame since it had a good storyline. The second segment was a surprisingly boring effort from Steven Speilberg. However, the final two segments make up for it, especially the final segment with a neurotic John Lithgow.

Twin Peaks review

Strange, weird, uneven view of small town life from surrealist David Lynch. Lynch took TV to a different style and level with this show which hasn't been repeated since. Definitely offbeat and entertaining.
