These are thick but not very absorbent. ...
These are thick but not very absorbent. But the do work great for the first couple of patches to get the bulk of fouling out. The perforated surface does that well. But they don’t do well in getting the stuff out down in the corner of the grooves.

Worked great for my 2013 Ultra easy to install. You will have an easier job if you have a set of snap ring pliers. Put a little brake fluid in the o-rings and it will go right in.
