The instructions are in tiny fonts, not really a beginner project. But voltage does not work well as lithium batteries die very suddenly. this does volts and amps, so you really know how much battery is used. Since the transmitter is wifi, it makes it easier to hook up. Once I figured it out, it has some very cool features. I wish they had a website and a phone app, but overall its should keep me from getting stranded. Voltage alone does not work in a golf cart!

300TD Veggi
3 personnes sur 3 ont jugé cet avis utile. a 1980 Mercedes 300td. This is the perfect waste veggie oil car under 5K. I got the wagon with 126K miles, extremely low miles for a 1980, 2225 was a very good price. Lucked out, car is in very good shape, everything works and no rust. TD does not mean turbo, but touring so it is a bit of a slug, but has alot of life left.
This car is very heavy, so the mileage of 20 to 25 is poor for a 3 liter 88 HP. The turbo gives you 120HP, but if saving money is your goal, this is the choice for a small diesel. I also have a 760 TD, these are very different vehicles. The light Volvo will move, but you better have some motor skills. comparing the 300 to the 760, the Mercedes is built like a tank, literally. Timing chain, huge injector pump and built like a truck. If you keep up with maintenance 300 to 500K miles is quite achievable.
For diesel, the mileage is simply too poor- I got nearly as well with a 6.5 4X4 v-8 and over 2X the power. With Veggie oil, mileage is irrelevant (It is free)but the Benz has the best motor, so the economics are great for a veggie car. At 4 bucks a gallon, a small gas engine is better for most people. at 20 MPG, you are not doing alot better than a full sized diesel truck.
The 4 matic is low to give you some get up and go, but too low for 70MPH+ I would give it very high rating for a tough veggie oil commuter car. It sucks as an economy car, towing vehicle or sport utility. It is an odd compromise, the weight of a truck, the size of a midsize and the power of a compact. If it wasn't so well built I would consider it useless, but it was built to last.
