Not a good choice
I had high hopes that purchasing the plug would replace the damaged plug. As we opened it to see how it installed the insides were loaded like a spring like pressure that we could never reassemble again. After hours of trying and trying again we surrendered to the fact that it would take a skill that none of us have to fix/replace the plug. I finally cut a cord with plug from something else and fixed it with some durable tape.

Top quality
It is Shimano so it is quality. This heavier rod is matching up with a light salt water reel and will be a great tool for my fishing.
