Fixed loud rattle -- great for repairing an old Ecofan

The new motor makes a little bit of a whirring noise, but at least it doesn't make an annoying loud rattle at higher stove temperatures like the old one did. Unfortunately our Ecofan was the original design with soldered fan wires. It was a two-person job to get the wires into the little holes on the motor. I wish it had the newer quick connector. But we got it assembled okay eventually. We're generally happy with the fan after swapping motors. Hopefully it will last another ten years.

Good only if you need waterproof...

Probably about the best and safest you can buy if you need a waterproof mattress protector. I found it a little weird because it makes some noise and is slippery on the back. I do like how it fits down under the mattress well to help keep it in place. I think if I bought another cover I'd get a regular organic cotton one. Even though it wouldn't be waterproof, I think I'd prefer the feel and quietness of it. We don't eat or drink in bed, so a cotton cover and a sheet on top should be adequate protection.

Great alternative to astronomical phone company fees

Ooma sounds about as good as a dedicated phone line, and very easy to configure and use. Also it was simple and quick to transfer my old number. I now have voice mail as a fallback in case my answering machine stops working. And it's awesome having caller ID again after having to cancel it many years ago due to the high price. I love not paying $56 a month for a land line that I rarely use. I was super glad to finally fire the phone company!
