Good adapter but volume is not that loud

Previously, I had my headphones (RCA wireless headphones) plugged into the back of my DVR in the A/V out panel. I got really good sound quality and good volume. Since the new TVs have no A/V out panels anymore, I got this converter/adapter to plug into the Optical digital on my Westinghouse TV. (be aware, not all new TVs have this jack). OK so, when I plugged the headphones into this Optical Digital to Analog adapter, I got good quality but the sound is much lower than what I got from the A/V jack on the back of my DVR. My headphones have a volume control on them and I have the volume all the way up too. Maybe that's why they show an amplifier in the picture. But, in reading the reviews, one of the reviewers said they just plugged the headphones into this adapter (no amp) and were happy with the results. Maybe that is so for some people but, for me, I need a little more volume. But, never the less, the sound quality is very good.

Absolutely adorable

This thing is small so, be prepared for that. Though I was surprised at just how small (5 inches wide by 4 inches deep). But I had no complaint about that since it doesn't sacrifice on the radio sound which can go up to very loud if you need it and the sound is clear too for a small radio. And, now I have plenty of room on my shelf for other things. Dials are "old school" just the way I like it. The volume dial is also an "on/off" switch and the radio has a dial too (not digital). The clock is large but not too bright so as to distract you when sleeping as my last clock radio did. Very happy with this purchase.

Very happy with these brushes

Love the swivel button. Turns all by itself! heh. But bottom line, they work. I have cat hair everywhere and this is the only kind of lint brush that does the job. I used to get something like this (minus the swivel button) in the dollar store but, can't find them lately so, I was glad to find them on Ebay.
