Personal experience

Although this is a camcorder and not really meant for still pictures, it still rates comparable with some other digital cameras I have used with. I still have yet to hook this up to an HDMI input to see its full capacity for a 1080 resolution. I like the option of when shooting video and saving it, it captures the subjects' faces and displays them on the screen to play. What I noticed was when I chose one of them, it played the movie from where I picked it from. I still have yet to learn the functions but overall, I am very happy with this product.
