Novelty/Gift Book for Someone Who Loves A1-not a great cookbook overall.

If you are looking for a good book for grilling and cooking meats, I would suggest you try another cookbook. This one does have a few good recipes and is full of color photographs, but the number of recipes is small. It is more of a novelty book for someone who is absolutely in love with A1 Steak Sauce.

Great book regarding forgotten history of workers at the turn of the century and government corruption.

This is a great book on a little known subject of forgotten history. It touches on the lives of immigrants at the turn of the century, women's suffrage, and the working conditions of the working class. It also shows the reader the influence corruption had in many of the conditions workers faced before unions and labor laws came to be. It is heartbreaking to read, but hard to put down.

Books covers more of Medieval life than the actual disease.

The author put more focus on the history of the people in medieval times more so than the plague. I was expecting a book that outlined the disease more and less on the personal histories of specific individuals. It was a nice book to read, but was not what the title implies.
