Ting Mobile Sim Card for Unlocked Phones

Ting is a good option for low data needs, but check you service requirements first.

The sim I got was for T-mobile, they carry other providers. Tings service does all that I need while evaluating my new tablet. However, I only have one bar of service in Whitmore Lake, MI; Zephyrhills, FL and 3G roaming in Twining, MI the main locations I go outside of work in Southfield, MI. There I have good service; otherwise, it is mainly located along the expressway. The account was easy to setup and the plan is perfect for starting out. There is no contract so I can end anytime. I want WiFi calling, like Spectrum mobile but I wanted a different phone than they offered. Ting is a good low cost/ low data option if you have a phone. Once you start requiring more data though, I am sure there are better plans available. I already have wifi at home so my data usage is low.

Good product but not for the Icon

The Lumis 930, Icon has a slightly curved screen. Doesn't seal well around edges. Allowing dirt to get underneath. Great product, very durable. I have one on my Lumia 1520, but doesn't work on this phone due to curved screen. Outer edges are also not sensitive to touch as it should be due to lifted edges of screen protector. Need to get a flexible type.
