Decent for a plinker

“You get what you pay for” is the best way to describe this item. It was inexpensive, so I bought it to check out the quality before buying more. Well, I stopped with the first purchase. The item is painted, so no special finish. The cutouts have metal spatter all over them and would require severe grinding and polishing/ repainting to remove them. Lastly, the holes drilled from the top left metal burrs that had to be drilled out, since they interfered with the bore path. I put this on a .22 rifle for looks only. With some work and refinishing, this may be a decent item. You could also save your money and buy a VG6 or similar name brand and have it done right the first time. Like I said, “you get what you pay for”.

Great flip up sights

I doubted these at first due to the price and the UTG name. I tried them, since they were for a 22 rifle build and I'm glad I did. They are sturdy, hold their zero after many rounds and adjust just like standard AR sights. I am actually getting another set...instead of the usual Magpul set I get.

Find something else!!!

I purchased this pack of 3 castle nuts for 3 separate builds I am doing. Out of the 3, only 1 was actually the proper thread pattern and fit. The other 2 castle nuts started chewing up the threads and were also a horrible finish. I could have purchased 1 castle nut from another supplier for 1/3 of the price. Instead, I paid $14 for 1 working product. Horrible quality, horrible finish and I would highly suggest to buy something other than this set.
