u/g from Celeron B830 to i7-3520
Love my laptop now. Upgraded my Lenovo Ideapad g580 from a lowly underperforming Celeron with HD graphics to an i7 3520 with HD 4000 graphics. Nice to get a dual upgrade with a single chip.
Breaking the machine down isn't something for non-techies, so if you aren't a "Geek" pay someone to do it for you. Took my time, tore the machine apart, swapped CPUs and VOILA!! Love my computer all over again.
I did upgrade from 4G to 16, so that helped as well.
My final upgrade will be to replace the 5400RPM HD with an SSD drive for total transformation on my laptop.
In conclusion, love this CPU, it was a great deal, and an impressive boost in performance. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Regret getting this item.
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. The item was received VERY fast. That portion was great. The screen had a line on the RHS as listed. What wasn't mentioned was that the speakers were non functional. I opened the case and reconnected the speakers. After doing so, the screen went black. Lessen learned - if there is a stripe on the screen, that is indicative of a bad screen. It's about to go.

Jaws Unleashed
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This game is warped, but still a lot of fun. You play the part of a Great White Shark creating mayhem in coastal waters. Chewing up swimmers, sinking boats, eating seals, sharks and dolphins, you are the KING of the ocean! My only complaint about the game would be the controls, which takes some getting used to, however once you acclimate yourself to the various keys, if you like blood and destruction Great White style, this game is for you.
