Great scale but NOT great value

This is a great product but unfortunately overpriced mostly due to the conversion from USD ($) and the outrageous postage costs. Nevertheless a great scale and a pity not available in Australia, at least that would reduce the postage costs and make it more value for the money. Also the option to have a stainless to without the perch would be great as then the scale could be used for normal domestic purposes as well as an avian scale. My attempts to find out if the stainless steel tray can be purchased separately without the perch addition have so far not brought me any joy.
