Cable Works Well After Clearing Up Driver Problems

I'm using this cable to program an Icom IC-2300H using CHIRP software on a Windows 10 PC. After finding out how to back date the driver to version 3.2.0.0 and make it stay as such, the cable works fine. (Disabling automatic Windows updating helped.) A CD is provided with the cable but it is of no apparent use. It has no information with it. Some files on the CD are 10 years old and others are labeled in Chinese or another Asian language.

Good Value

For the very reasonable price for 100ft, I was expecting low quality wire. Such was not the case. Although the wire strands are not not plated as in more expensive product, it is flexible, good quality copper, with good insulation that is easily separated and stripped. I have used this wire to make very satisfactory DC power cables for 100W amateur radio transceivers. The only problem was that the wire had been wound around someone's forearm and then twisted to fit in the shipping box which may made it a little difficult to get it unwound, straight and recoiled loosely without the twist.
