Little film, big delight
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. Despite the melancholy subject matter and grieving tone, this is a very compelling film. A mystery and a tale of parents trying to make sense of their soldier son's death. Not in battle but on the streets back in this country. Performances are top-notch. Worth checking out.

The Beach Boys in the 1970s
This was a very strange decade for the band. These two CDs were an effort for Brian to be active again in the band and to get some radio interest. Very uneven results. There are some bright spots but the band was far past its more successful days. If you look at these songs against the band's recent product the view is more positive than if you compared them against the previous decade. Brian showed glimpses of his songwriting talent but music in the late 1970's was in a far different place. Enjoy it for what it is, not what it isn't.
