It is a book that has a variety of information about cultures.
I use the book for Anthropology class. It is easy to read and is and introductory level for student anthropologist. It gives various illustrations of definitions for words throughout the chapters and critical thinking sections for the reader.

A useful variety of writings for observable writing styles.
I haven't used the book yet. I don't start the class for another two weeks. I've Briefly looked at the book and it seems to have a bunch of writing examples as is discribed in the books description, so I am glad to get the book at a cost that is not inflated.

Eleventh Edition
