Mass produced thing
Like many mass produced, stamped out Chinese items this is subject to a high percentage of failure. I wish there were options to this charger but this is what we have to rely on. These always work except when or until they don't

Makes little tiny things look really really big.
This actually works better than I had expected. The illumination is fine and the magnification is more than what I normally require but I am sure I will have occasion to use it. It slides out to turn the light on and expose the magnifier, and it does that smoothly. This is great for VERY CLOSE work, as in viewing dust on the head of a pin. I won't use it often but I'm glad I've got it.

Works for me
It is nicely packaged with clear labeling including the 'use by' date. It tested as fully charged.
