Works well, but not direct fit
I opened my Braun 790cc razor to replace the battery, and found that the HQRP battery is of smaller diameter and with a different design on the ends than the original in the razor. The original has posts that mount in the copper connectors, where the HQRP battery has leads soldered flat to the ends, that come out perpendicular to the length of the battery. In the eBay description I had read that soldering would be required, so I wasn't surprised,
but I wished I had understood better that the new battery would not be mounted as securely in the razor because of the smaller diameter. Nevertheless, when I got the battery in the razor and packed some padding around it to hold it more securely in place, I tried it out and it works fine. I believe it will work well for years, as long as my packing effort works to keep the battery from vibrating and breaking the electrical connection.
