Not new, just UNUSED
Battery appears to be an UNUSED one made in 2005. Probably not sold then due to a cosmetic defect, as I had to trim some of the foil off the wrapping so it would fit in my phone. Holds a charge for 4-5 days under light use, which is a somewhat better than the 4 dollar battery it replaced.

Good deal
Arrived one day EARLY (advantage of buying from a US company). Installed easily, had enough paste tabs to hold it in place
Nice to have the screen back and working

Careful if ham radio in use
Bought this to block HF signals from nearby amateur radio antennas. Works fair on most bands, still some pixilation, but total wipe out from 100 watt 7 MHz antenna about 30 feet away from TV antenna. Tivo box shuts all the way down and has to restart.
