Works flawlessly

I had the older SP3 dock before and i thought that this would be a downgrade because I like how easy it was to plop the surface into it as opposed to fiddling around trying to fit a connector into the side. My old dock was giving me trouble like causing shut downs when I pulled my SP3 out with certain apps running. I upgraded to an SP4 which was a huge improvement in the reliability side of things. But the new docking station really solidified the performance in the docking experience. It is much faster to load up on my monitor and flawlessly disconnects with no shut downs and glitches. It is surprisingly easy to snap in the connector and I actually find it easier and quicker because I can do it all with one hand. It's easier than the old dock because with that you needed two hands to snap it together. Plus, you can move it around, change the tilt angle, and lay it down for drawing while docked. It looks like just a USB hub from the pictures, but once you see it you realize it's not a hub. It's bigger than it looks, and heavier. It sits nicely on your desk with 2 USB ports in the front for quick access. It powers your device and provides an improved audio driver experience (I am an amatuer sound engineer and I use various ASIO drivers on my DAW, this docking station driver works flawlessly). If you are on the fence, get it. You wont regret it and you'll see why the old SP3 docking station was crap.

Most amazing phone ever made!
2 personnes sur 2 ont jugé cet avis utile. I am an avid Android fan and gizmo geek. I have had the HTC G1 since its inception and have run various custom roms on it. I thought that the Nexus one one be a step up, but I had no idea how much faster and more equipped it really is as compared to other android phones. I am running cyanogen mod 5.xxx on it. It just flies. No need to worry about closing out apps all the time. Battery life is great, no need to keep a charger with you at all times (and I use the daylights out of it all day). Even web browsing on the same network as my G1 is 20X faster. Phone technical details are amazing, such as auto adjusting screen brightness for ambient light, the high def graphics, speaker sound, form factors, etc. I thought I would miss the physical keyboard, but turning it to landscape orientation and typing is actually a bit faster once you get used to it and learn to use word suggest quickly.
Things I would have liked to see or see improved are:
-Sometimes there is a gap in data network flow when it switches between wireless data network and wifi network.
-3G/edge/GPRS data reception can be hit or miss occasionally.
-Believe it or not, I actually wanted the headphone output through the usb port instead of the separate 3.5mm jack.
-it can be easy to inadvertently hit side and top buttons (theres not many places to hold it without touching those).
-it is very easy to be unintentionally touching the screen w/one hand while trying to use the other to navigate. This poses a multitouch problem and causes erratic navigation behavior. You have to train yourself not to touch the edges of the screen with the holding hand.
Summary: Best phone purchase I ever made.

Great sound, light and versatile.
Great sound, awesome head and nice light weight. Easily tunable. Just used it at a gig in State Farm Center Arena in front of 2800 people. Sounded incredible, the fans loved it. Great snap and nice warm beat tones and versatile. I taped a square on the back to eliminate overtones.
