Comfortable but not for sloppy conditions
While these look the part for a trail shoe, the rubber is too hard and treads too short for muddy or snowy conditions. They are very comfortable and fit true to size. They lock down nicely and provide ample cushioning for short and long runs.

Excellent light weight running pant
This is my second pair as they fit well (not skin tight but do not flap in the wind), breathe exceptionally easily, have 3 pockets and have some water resistance.
