Enjoy the time period and intelligence of the episodes
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This is a quality Canadian TV series, a 'period piece' from around the end of the 19th Century with historic events in the episodes. I'm grateful when I can get the DVD of different seasons of it at decent prices since I cannot get it on TV services.

More fun than "Law and Order"!
Since I can't get this program on TV, I'm so glad I can get the DVDs through eBay. It is fun, the characters are enjoyable, and I've been able to get pretty good prices on eBay. I like the fact that it is a 'period piece', taking place in Victorian times... and is Canadian, because they've got some very good programming.

Most enjoyable for children and adults!
This is a family-friendly, very cute and funny movie. I've had it on my DVR for a long time, but finally decided to purchase a copy. I never get tired of watching it. The children in it are perfect for the movie. Eddie Murphy is a joy to watch as a nice dad who has been paying too much attention to work and not his sweet but lonely son.... and with his funny co-worker, both having lost their jobs, starts a day care with mixed results at first but then sweet success. Steve Zahn is a special treat.
