Third Del Sol and second Del Sol bought on eBay

I previously bought my son a red 1993 Si Del Sol 3 years ago and was very pleased with the performance, handling and features of this unique car. Consequently I purhased another Del Sol on eBay a year later. It was a white 1997 S model with 38,000 miles. I really enjoyed this Del Sol when my wife and I flew to South Beach, FL to pick it up and drive it the 1100 miles back north in mid-May. It was a fun car to have in Florida and received a lot of comments there and back home. I am very pleased with the Del Sols and favor them over the current small convertible models that are sold today, mainly for the rear window and the fact that I can get 2 sets of golf clubs and 2 overnight bags in the trunk with the top neatly stored in the trunk. There is no way you can do this in the new Mazdas, Hondas, Saturn and VW convertibles which I thought about moving uo to. Instead I purchased my third Del Sol, a black 1994 Si model with 24,000 miles. I like the black color as well as the spider lights that were removed from the later models. I have sold the other 2 Del Sols to fiends. There was no shortage of buyers and some were upset when they did not get a chance to buy this great car. I have never had problems with roof leaks, performance, reliability, etc. I hope that Honda would revive this fun and unique model.
