Ford Ranger Suicide Door Repair Kit

Wow! After watching a video on the Ford Ranger Forum, I was able to track down this kit with OK Marketplace. Product is well made and replaces the existing rubber stops perfectly. The door handle was easy to do and was a snap. The upper latch is a bit trickier even with the CAM ends. There was not enough of the bare cable exposed to slip the CAM end on the cable. One method calls for bending the tab of the latch out to get to the cable but I don't recommend that method. Instead, release the spring holding in the latch in place, and then you can work the cable end out of the stop. Once you do this you will have enough cable exposed to slip the CAM end over the cable. Now just work the cable stop back into the latch, reset the spring and voila! you have fixed the upper latch. My bottom latch was in good shape so I didn't have to replace it but I did buy the dual kit so I can do the other door. I highly recommend this product if you like using your suicide doors on the Ford Ranger.

Item was an exact match and fit for the original armrest base. It might seem insignificant but not having an armrest was really uncomfortable until I found this part and a matching tan armrest cushion replacement. It came with screws which is good if you didn't save the originals when doing the replacement. Took about 10 minutes total to take out the old one and replace the new one.

Memory Upgrade

Needed a good solid memory upgrade for a customer's older laptop and this fit the bill perfectly. It has the same CAS timing as the original memory and doubled the amount of RAM.
