Watch works great, but the accessories are not so good

I have had my watch for a couple weeks now and love it. I have two issues. One is that the band is not a good replacement. It is a cheap rubber/synthetic band as opposed to the nice leather band that comes with it new. The second mortgage important issue is that the charger stopped working last night. The charger has a light that lights up when plugged in, and changes color when charging. The light doesn't even power up, let alone charge. My guess is that the charger is a cheap replacement instead of the Samsung charger. Now I have to spend $30 to get a Samsung charger before I can use my watch again. Disappointing....
