Worth the effort
Required lots of skilled inkjet-heads cleaning, but DIY-ers don't get paid hourly wages, so it's OK 😀

Learning D810
You can use it in point and shoot mode, but that's like using $60K MacPro to just write emails. As a 60-year user of pro photo equipment, I finally resolved to master the electronic possibilities of today's advanced cameras (instead of using them in pure manual mode - nothing wrong with that, does the job if you know what you're doing) - and it's tough. But I persevere, and soon I'll be able to do custom menus, assign functions buttons, transmit px through wi-fi, change focus modes on the fly, do slo-mo movies, etc. Hopefully pandemic death doesn't come before total mastery of D810...
