Engine Oil Pressure Switch MOPAR 5149062AB bx550

Worked PERFECTLY!!!!

I bought this new oil pressure sensing unit when the OEM sensor on my 2014 Jeep GC went bad after only 46,000 miles. It would have been like a 5 second job if the brilliant engineers didn't put the damn thing UNDER THE TWO PIECE INTAKE MANIFOLD!!! Three hours later and some blood loss I fired it up and viola the gauge is happy again ;) Highly recommend this unit and be sure if your getting a replacement buy the newer 5149062AB unit not the AA. This might be the new and improved model because there is no way a sending unit should have gone bad in less than 100K miles.

You Get What You Pay For

I bought this box of Chinese Goliath Industrial bonded seal washers with the idea that I can get 150 washers for about the same price as I could get about a third of the washers from the company I nornmally buy from in the UK. The Goliath washers were also here in the US so I could get them faster which was also a plus. After receiving this box of Chinese garbage I reqalized that you really do get what you pay for. The metal ring on the Goliath washers was about half the thickness of the quality UK sourced bonded washers I normally buy and the rubber was not even thick enough so the Chinese washers just fell off the banjo bolts. Due to the poor quality of these Chinese parts I decided to return them for a refund because it was not worth taking the risk using these parts on any automotive application. I have attached pictures showing the quality UK washers on the left and the poor quality chinese washers on the right. You can see the difference in size and material used and how the Chinese washers just hang off the fitting leaving a rather large gap where a leak can occur resulting in an engine failure or possible fire. Hopefully my post can alert people to the poor quality of parts like this and they can avoid wasting their money and having serious damage done to their vehicles or equipment.

FoodSaver FM2000 Vacuum Sealing System

This is a great compact unit that works flawlessly. Very easy to use and operate and it does exactly what it's suppose to do. Worth every dollar and I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes to stock up on the buy one get one free meat sales.
