  Item arrived as described, securely packaged. We are glad to provide the next kitchen home for a vintage Ekco cooking utensil that has served previous families well. It's difficult to find any contemporary match for Ekco's sturdy stainless steel stems and quality craftsmanship. Before seeing the item offered on ebay, we were not aware that Ekco had used bakelite for any of its products. It's a pleasure to make mashed potatoes the old-fashioned way with this charming old-fashioned potato masher.
