A soothing read.
Vern and Me was of interest to me since it’s historical fiction about a part of Maine that I go to almost every summer. The main characters are in 4th and 6th grade and it gave me a sense of what it was like growing up on a farm in Maine in the 1930’s.

A Great Read!
This is a wonderful soothing and uplifting book! It’s also filled with excitement and Bella Osborne writes beautifully. I didn’t want to put it down.

A Great Book!
This version features language such as “cold gold daughter,” and the wizard’s words, “If you love something more than gold, wish for it, King Midas. Wish for it with all your heart!” I think it’s very appealing to young readers and adults.
