Chrome Power Side View Mirrors Left & Right Pair Set for 99-02 Chevy GMC Truck

new power mirrors :)

these arrived quick and packaged carefully so no damage at all. I put the old mirrors in the bags and boxes they sent the new ones in. the new mirrors bolted right up [I used the original larger flange nuts] they looked better than the new nuts [personal choice] the motors move faster - very quietly and smoothly compared to the jerky originals. they fold in nicely [one of the old ones needed tape to hold it in place] the glass is great actually saw others that were heated, but I have no def control button - the wires are in the connector of the truck, but plug into the new ones just as they connected to the originals that needed replaced. these are great mirrors and the chrome is extra shiny too. [no fade at all]

Lenny T61 15" thinkpad - thoughts?

i have a couple of these t61 by lenovo =lenny ;) IBM built a better machine,but they are no more as lenny bought them and it is made in China now. it is not as good,but still my first choice in laptops. ok "thinkpads" :) i have bought 2 t61 models new from lenny and some used from fleabay and have great luck with these durable more easily rebuilt laptops. this last 1 i got and am running multiple boot of win 7 and XP pro with a partition to add win ME for the old games. my 2nd choice for new laptops is HP - but only new as the others are all plastic and not meant to be rebuilt - the plastic models are expendable and seldom last very long. i have a few old IBM R40 an $32 a few t43 and t42 that i rebuilt a few years back and they are running fine. i have a few of the "other" plastic laptops in the parts stack as they are - what they are - cheap and expendable.

most reliable dial up modem ive used

ive tested several dial up modems and this model usr5699 just works. reliable and slightly faster as well as stable connections. the cost is more,but a 5 dollar modem night connect,but slower and not for long.
