Benro A38FD Series 3 Aluminum Monopod with 3-Leg Locking Base - Photography
    28 avr. 2021
Monopod swirls when attached to the locking base
I just wanted something cheap but usable. The manfrotto monopod has irregular screws at the bottom so unless you get a set, you can't use third party bases. This does have standard base but the locking lug at the bottom tightens the opposite direction the monopod tightens to the base so when you tighten one, it only tightens so far before starting to loosen the other. It still works but it means the monopod can swivel without truly locking into place. The base isn't nearly wide enough to hold a camera on its own. Granted, I don't believe it's designed to do that, but unless you're gripping it, the setup still wobbles. Tilting a 3 pound camera a little is enough to seriously destabilize the monopod. If I had to do it again, I'd look for a different monopod and get a different base as well (my minitripod with telescoping legs could be attached and provides much better stability).
New Replacement Housing Case Lock Buckle for Gopro Hero 3+ Waterproof Case Black
    04 juil. 2016
    Poor Fit
One corner doesn't snap the back panel all the way in. That corner also has a bit of jiggle when shut. It works if all you're looking for is the cheapest thing to close the case. I would trust it against a splash but I wouldn't trust it underwater.
Eagle Industries MOLLE USMC Coyote Admin Pouch Side Plate Pocket Carrier USGI
    26 avr. 2016
    Not great for plates
Snap buttons pop open easily compared to other MOLLE. I can open them easily with 2 fingers. For some reason, the straps don't line up when woven through on my plate carrier - it seems short. The extra tension when closed makes the buttons pop open easier too. More than once I've discovered that the button has popped open although it hasn't resulted in pouch coming off. I haven't ran it yet, just walked around the house with it. . They'll fit 6x6 plates and 6x8 plates. Despite them being 8x8 they won't fit 8 inches horizontally despite being 8.5"x8.5". 6x6 plates would jump around inside. Compared to Condor's side plate pouches, the webbing doesn't go as high so the plates sag over instead of laying flush for the 8" high plates. I don't believe the 6" plates would have as much issues with that. Material, velcro, and sewing are strong. Would I recommend it? For 6x6 inch plates - maybe if you don't mind it jumping around inside and want something very affordable. I do expect them to last. My gripe are the snap buttons, strap length, and how they sag over with my plates - not something I can use or rely on. For other uses it might be ok.
