Smooth Edge inside the can
It's the only can opener I know of that leaves a clean edge inside the can. Thus, the dog can aid in cleaning the cans before they hit the recycle bin. It is "easy on the elderly", in that only a portion of the brain is required to use it, and no physical strength is required.
It has proven itself reliable in this household, in that my first one worked for over a decade, and has now goone to the "parts pile" in case of future need. This, my second, is behaving as well as the first one did.
One word: Awesome!

Attractive and practical
Good product, well made. Launders well also, pilling is not a problem as it can be with fleece goods. I've bought numerous of these full-zip jackets, and each and every one has performed well..
