Cut scenes

I saw this in the theater and there were a few scenes deleted from the blu Ray release. What is up with that? Very disappointing!

Called the greatest British film ever made

I can see why. Brilliant in every possible way! Carol Reed was one of the best directors ever, but sadly, only film buffs know his name. Add Welles, Cotton and Howard, and a thrilling Graham Greene script, and get ready for one of the masterpieces of cinema. Great extras on this Criterion release. Wish it hadn't gone out of print.
