Epson R280...Get one if you can.
First off...I have used this printer to print hundreds of 4x6 cards as well as hundreds of 8.5x11 photos. One of the best inkjet printers I have ever owned. The R380 is the other. All my HP, Canon and Kodak inkjet printers are nowhere near the quality of this printer. I have a CIS installed which has made the printer even better. Straight feed is a HUGE plus.
Woodland Scenics C1238 Rock Mold to make Weathered Rock, Reusable, Flexible

Makes nice castings.
I expected this mold to be bigger and to produce a bigger cast. I did not know that it was meant for hobbyists.....let's say like miniature landscape modeling. I decided to keep it anyhow and give it a try. Glad I did. The mold accepts the plaster easily and in no time at all it is dry and ready for release which it does perfectly. I have not had one millimeter of stickage with this mold. I am using only windex for release. It is very flexible so you have to figure out how to keep it "level" so the plaster cures evenly in the mold. I figured it out. Use a flat trowel on it. You will be amazed at the results. I added a picture of a large rock to indicate what I thought I was getting....it's about a 5x7. I haven't started painting any of them that I have made. Was going to wait a month or so. From what I have seen on YouTube they should turn out beautiful. My only problem is that I wish I had more than one.

Works for me.
My old cold control was "sticky". I had to pound it to make it come on and maintain coldness. This took care of the problem.
