The most impressive tech product of 2020
11 personnes sur 12 ont jugé cet avis utile. The Quest 2 basically does it all, and for cheaper than anything else on the market.
The standalone VR space is pretty unique, so it's easily best of its class. The ability to put a VR headset in your backpack and show VR to your friends and family is something I've wanted since picking up a PCVR headset in late 2019. That part's cool.
The really cool part is that it's *also* a wired or even wireless PCVR headset. A decent USBC-USB3.0 male/male cable will let you plug it in and use it like a Rift. 5 GHz wifi 6 router (the $60 Tenda AC1200 works just fine) and the $20 program Virtual Desktop will let you use it wirelessly.
The headset itself is B level quality; it's definitely not premium, but doesn't feel cheap, either. The basic headstrap lets even giant skulls wear it comfortably (something that isn't true of many more expensive headsets) and the controllers feel great. Battery life isn't the best--about 90-120 minutes--but most people aren't going to want to play VR for that long. You can fortify the battery life with a USBC cable and a standard external battery; I use the one that came with my suitcase. When you factor in that you have to spend 2-3x as much for a premium headset (that also requires a $1500+ computer to experience noticeable improvement over the Quest 2), the quality is frankly incredible.
If you were trying to choose between a Quest 2, a Playstation 5, or an Xbox Series X, I would advocate for the Quest 2 without hesitation...and it's 60% the cost of the consoles.

No frills, all performance
1 personnes sur 1 ont jugé cet avis utile. This is a very straightforward router. If you want 5 GHz wifi6 and that's all you want, that's exactly what this router provides. Nothing fancy, which also means you're not paying extra for features you'll never use.
I'm specifically using this to run an Oculus Quest 2 as a wireless headset via Virtual Desktop and it works great.

A cheap product masquerading as a nice one
0 personnes sur 8 ont jugé cet avis utile. This keyboard *looks* like a mechanical gaming keyboard but doesn't work like one. It has RGB colors, but it runs on a continuous spectrum that can't be adjusted--no color selection, no brightness options, merely on and off. The keys sound just like my $20 office keyboard and lack the satisfying click of a true mechanical keyboard. The "wrist rest" is clumsy and heavy.
All that said, it's still a Logitech keyboard. It lacks the premium feeling of a mechanical keyboard, but it still types your words in just like normal, and the media and gaming keys are all functional. The thing is, you can have that experience for 1/3 the price of this unit with its empty bells and whistles.
You won't hate it, but you won't be impressed, either.
