Air Compressor Belt AC-0815 Craftsman / DeVilbiss / Porter Cable

Tough enough

Belt was correct for my application. There is no mechanism for tightning the belt, so it has to go on without any "relief" from it's normal running tension.But it can be done. I installed the belt, turned the compressor on........it pumped to to max pressure and shut off. I used some air, it kicked back on, ran for a about 40 seconds, then stopped, never to start again. I disassembled the compressor unit again, the belt was fine, but there were ball bearings found in the housing. Honestly, I don't know what happened, the belt still will turn (by hand) the piston, but with the friction/rough feeling of busted bearings. So the belt worked fine, the compressor's bearings finally failed...... overheating the unit and activating some kind of thermal relay, I assume. My Sears compressor was 12 years old.

Quick, reliable communication, reasonable price.

reception clear from front of church to the back part of the basement. Will be used by our safety team. The "boom" mics and ear buds are a tricky fit. we bought these to see if they would meet our needs. We plan to buy another set of 4 to equip our whole team. Great price, good product.
