Very handy for users with arthritis or mobility problems.
There are plenty of knock-off versions of unknown quality. I decided to go with a known brand using 3 screws to mount it, and I am impressed with how solid it is. I have bought two of them so far for friends and may need one myself before long. The product works great for lids of all sizes. Sadly it is still difficult for people with shoulder injuries to hoist a heavy jar up to the opener (which is mounted on the underside of a top cabinet). Perhaps I can design a swing-down mount for the opener.

Brute Force Power
4 personnes sur 4 ont jugé cet avis utile. I got my first one of these batteries with my chainsaw, and I just bought a second one. This battery is an animal. I also have 9Ah batteries, and you would think they have 3/4 the capacity of this one, but that is theory only. On the chainsaw, this one runs circles around the 9Ah in torque and run time. The smaller the battery, the higher its internal resistance. Today a friend was trying to undo lug nuts on a truck wheel with his 1/2" M18 Fuel impact wrench, with a 3Ah battery, and he was just rattling away without success. I loaned him my 12Ah, and the impact wrench suddenly was on steroids. Holy cow!!! Yes, this battery is big and heavy. If you only drill a few small holes, you won't need it. Besides, it will not fit some of the older M18 tools because of its size. But if you have a high-draw M18 tool, don't try to save money by buying the smaller batteries. Also, unless you are willing to wait half a day for it to recharge, get the Rapid Charger as well. They are available as a set.

Very handy set and stand
Nowhere on the set does it state "Made in China", only the box says so. There is a lot of junk out there; time will tell how durable these are. So far so good. I have used the largest flat-blade driver, needing the wrench hex for extra torque. The tip fit very well and shows no wear at all. The triangular handle shape does not appear to be an advantage; it feels awkward to me. The wrench hex definitely is useful for the larger sizes. The striking caps show the shape of the blade tips; the box states that the metal shafts go all the way through the handle. The size of the blade is laser-etched onto the metal shank, but you may need glasses to read it. It would be nice if the size could have been hot-stamped into the plastic of the handle. The stand is quite handy for the workbench, though not much good for any field work. I don't work on guns, but deal with lots of metric slot-head wood screws in accordions. The commonly available drivers fit poorly and tend to mess up the screw slots. All told, it isn't the cheapest set around, but it should last for the rest of my life.
