Not the promised masterpiece, but worthwile.

Consider this Nosferatu like a fan-art of Murneau's classic and nothing more. It's fun to see some of the same scenes and location being remade, but the mysterious atmosphere of the original is totally gone, replaced by a corny feel. Also, the original vampire of Murneau's was a frightful and total baddass, making Gorf Orlock THE most awesome vampire of the whole history of cinema. This Dracula, however, feel old, pathetic, and desperate... which I'm sure was the original intention. Still, any fan of any classic vampire movies should get it, just for the extended ending featuring Adjani's strong character, and that surprise final act.
