Good book and resource.
This sis a great field guide for the I have purchased the book for friends.sagebrush areas of the west.

Geology on the marked trail -- Western Slope Colorado
It's good. It's focus is on tourist spots (i.e. national parks and monuments) rather than littler known Colorado geologic sites. I was hoping for something not so armchair geologist.

Rocks and Minerals of New Mexico
This is an excellent book. We used it on a recent trip to N.M. The book was interesting and easy to use. We found the rocks described in the area we visited.
