They say Panasonic but are the same as the german brand. Find there life span not consistent some only lasting hours. Will be looking at other brands.

Best stereo TV/AUDIO headphones on the market period!

Have bought a total of 3 of this model.they are excellent phones for the money.Sennheiser is quality!They are of course infra red transmission meaning the signal is line of sight and anything coming between the transmitter and the headphones will interrupt the signal momentarily such as your hand coming between you and the bowl of popcorn.Compared to the set 840 which is radio frequency transmission and is not affected and allows you to sit anywhere in or out of the room and still hear perfectly.I find the sound has a softer tone not as crisp as the set 840 but still very acceptable.I have a profound hearing loss and they still have plenty of volume and also balance control for right and left ear most important if you have unequal hearing in both ears The volume control is not as conveniently placed ( under the phones) as is the set 840 which is right up front and easier to adjust. overall a fine TV or audio set of headphone and also they are very light and comfortable to wear. The battery lasts for about 9 hours and recharges every time the unit is placed back in its cradle it also has a slot in the side to keep a fully charged extra battery ready to go. Think I,ved covered all the bases. JWw
