Ain't a Nikon - BUT !

Great little lens , I bought it to travel with, it's wide enough 90 percent of the time, and the zoom to 300 is amazing, it's not VR stabilized, but as a hobbyist I have always handheld all my long lenses ( up too a 500mm reflex that I still have ) just remember the inverse focal length rule and I have no problem, you just need a bunch of light at those longer lengths & higher f-stops. But as I will never use this lens indoors this little beauty will work just fine and allow me to walk around with this lens and maybe a fast 35 or 50mm and no bag , what a deal. It ain't a Nikon-BUT it's gonna do me great!

Excllent Lens!

The lens came from Japan in the exact condition as described. It arrived 2 days before it was scheduled, and was delivered in person by a semi-private carrier. Just make certain that your camera can couple & meter "thru the lens" ( many can't) since it is an older AF, not AF-S. I have already taken a couple of hundred shots with this lens. The lens arrived clean with no internal dust or mold, and it performed exactly as I had hoped, if you are thinking of a well priced , reasonably fast, non-professional, wide angle zoom that is well built, this one is a fine choice, & it works great on my Nikon Df.
